Job Description

Primary Objective
  • Plan, implement and follow up of the operational excellence programme
  • Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement mindset with the implementation of Lean Design Thinking
  • Work with multiple business functions to generate project ideas
  • Lead on execution of process initiatives and to follow-up on implementation and results
  • Coach and mentor users to ensure timely completion of their process improvement projects
  • Assist in establishing baseline and target metrics for key processes

Key Responsibilities
  • Redesign of workflow, process defect elimination, competitive benchmarking, performance metrics development, data collection and application of statistical & mathematic optimization techniques to improve the process efficiency leading to productivity improvement.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives across / within business segments
  • Build internal capabilities / expertise (transfer of knowledge) to support continuous process improvements for greater operational efficiency.
  • Drive process review for immediate process improvement and/or automation/system enhancement to close operational/control gaps.
  • Facilitate development or modification of procedures to incorporate into process improvement and automation/system enhancement activities for greater efficiency.
  • Provide operational and technical advice related to process review and facilitate problem solving.

  • Minimum Degree in any disciplines
  • Certified / Experienced Lean Six Sigma practitioner with minimum 5 years experience in process improvement
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in coaching and driving lean & data-driven thinking is required
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
