Job Description :
Amazon is looking for an Operations Manager to join an exciting new project team supporting a new, best in class product. The ideal candidate will work closely with external partners to coordinate design transfer, manufacturing and sustaining operations. You will be supporting and collaborating with a unique and gifted global team, which is developing exciting products for customers. .
. Support operation activities including capacity planning, build plan, inventory and procurement of consigned materials
. Support external suppliers and contract manufacturing partners to meet all shipment requirements
. Collaborate with internal teams in providing feedback and best practices on manufacturing strategy to ensure timely completion in line with project milestones
. Support implementation of both long term and short term Assurance of Supply Strategies
. Support internal and external continuous improvement initiatives

Basic Qualifications :
. Bachelor degree in Science, Engineering, Operation Management, or equivalent experience
. 7+ years in high volume manufacturing or manufacturing engineering including NPI experience
. Experience in manufacturing operations including scheduling, vendor selection and CM operations
Preferred Qualifications :
. Experience in manufacturing in cGMP environment
. Experience in testing and qualification as relates to New Product Introduction
. Experience in leading NPI teams
