Job Description :

  • Responsible for full spectrum of monthly payroll functions which includes preparation and processing of payroll in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.

  • Generate Payroll Register Report and other payroll related reports for internal and external submission.

  • Liaise with the respective government statutory bodies for matters relatedto EPF, Socso and Income Tax.

  • Ensure accurate, timely payments and compliance with all statutory requirements.

  • Ensure the preparation of annual tax reporting is accurate and timely.

  • Process General Ledger postings of payroll related entries and ensure the postings are charged correctly.

  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance for internal controls and audits.

  • Attend to employee enquiries on payroll related issues.

  • Assist in other ad-hoc duties asand whenassigned from time to time.

  • A degree holder in Human Resources or any relevant field.

  • At least 3 to 4 years’ experience in payroll processing and knowledge in statutory requirement. Preferable with banking experience.

  • Good knowledge in Collective Agreement within the Banking industry.

  • A team player with pleasant personality, good attitude and the ability to work independently and under pressure.

  • Good communication skills, proactive and able to multi-task.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.

  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word & MS PowerPoint.

  • Possess strong drive and enthusiasm with the motivation and credibility for process improvement.

  • Meticulous and good analytical skill

  • Good time management especially in meeting timelines
