We are looking for a candidate who can lead and develop engineering team of physical design engineer
Candidate will lead a team of engineers responsible for physical design of complex Subsystem, ASIC or SoC
Performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from highlevel design to synthesis, Floorplan, place and route, CTS, timing, power, physical and reliability signoff to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing.
The candidate will work with cross functional team across multiple geographies including architect and Logic design engineers to drive best timing, power and area goal and exploring solution for achieving physical design closure
As a manager, candidate is expected to set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
May also review vendor capability to support development. Selects, develops, and evaluates SoC design engineers to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BE/MS/Phd in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 10+ Years experience in physical design, timing closure and physical integration/signoff.
Should have multiple tapeout experience including 2-3 tape-outs in latest technology 10nm or lower
Candidate must have experience of managing 2-3 tapeouts from RTL to GDSII
Proficient in physical design industry standard EDA tools such as ICC2/DC/Primetime/PTPX, low-power and physical verification
Candidate should be strong in communication, problem solving and analytical skill
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience of delivery high complex physical design tapeout
Able to drive physical design methodology improvements with cross functional teams
Should be a self starter, able to drive team and task to closure
Previous management experience is desired
