Why does this job exist and why is it critical​
The successful incumbent is tasked to develop, grow and lead the strategy of the Maxis Business Retail and Payment solutions portfolio as part of the overall Maxis E-Commerce and Retail solution offering. He/She has the principal responsibility to achieve the E-Commerce and Retail product deliverable targets and lead Retail solution manager(s). This incumbent is required to conceptualize the portfolio and product roadmap for Maxis Business Retail and Payment solutions and structure a holistic offering aligned with the E-Commerce and Retail Go-to-Market strategy and the overall Maxis Business direction.
What are you accountable for
  • Establish the market context/ strategic play for Retail and Payment solutions.Identify relevant technological product/ solutions, strategic business partners and market segments for formulation into an overall Omni channel commerce strategy.
  • Oversee the end to end product management of the Payments solutions portfolio to meet the needs of targeted Enterprise Customers in order to drive new revenue growth and drive service take upvia profitablealigned with the E-Commerce and Retail Go-to-Market strategy and the overall Maxis Business direction.
  • Manage relevant partnerships within the portfolio including solution provider partners, financial institutions and regulatory bodies
  • Oversee and coordinate the design, development & implementation of commercially viable, innovative & marketable new services for payment solutions.
  • Lead the strategy for Retail and Payment solutions
  • Oversee and coordinate the identification/ prioritisation of portfolio related product enhancements, system and process improvements required to optimise service efficiency and consumer user experience through an understanding of customer needs.
  • Responsible for end-to-end product proposition for Payment solutions including business justification, product development, marketing strategy, customer experience, financial analysis, strategy, reporting and troubleshooting etc.
  • Grow the Retail and Payment solutions revenue and user base, achieve long-term range plan targets and ensure optimal customer experience.Achieve revenue and subscriber targets as per approved business case.Ensure that the fulfillment process is managed and handled within the agreed SLA to the customers.
  • Provide business and technical requirements for the various relevant Maxis platforms including the billing platforms working with the internal ISD and network teams and also the third party solution providers. Provides requirements that ensure that the platforms provide the optimal solutions service levels while at the same time focusing on the solutions providing the best customer experience.
  • Work with the Maxis e-Commerce and Enterprise sales teams effectively to ensure the sales targets are met.Provide pre-sales support in the initial stages with the intent to handover this capability to the Enterprise Sales team, dealers and the alternate channels, if applicable.

What do you need to have for this role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business,Marketing, IT or Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience. Exposure in telco industry and/or banking industry will be an added advantage
  • Experience managing solutions through entire life cycle especially product management and product marketing
  • Experience designing new solutions and managing solutions through entire life cycle
  • Good communication and relationship/ partner management skills
  • Good Business Development/ Management knowledge and skills
  • Strong product development and management skills
  • Business solution knowledge & Skills
  • Good in strategic thinking, communication, negotiation and product marketing skills
  • Experience in Bid and Tender Process Submission
  • Working experience in implementing Enterprise solutions
