Job Description
As a ProgramAdministrator at Micron Inc., you will be responsible for creating & Managing inventory in Micron’s inventory system (MAM & SAP), performing numerous MAM & SAP functions and operations including; conversion, movements, ships, quantity adjusts, tracking, splits, merge, assigning lot location and other attributes. You will be required to utilize numerous internal tools along with MAM & SAP, E2Open to ensure quality of process and product. Performing routine inventory audits including accurate and detailed reporting of results as well as follow up actions taken. Assisting Boise team in communication and driving day to day interactions with Subcon team with inventory management and priorities. In this role you will need to troubleshoot problems with inventory management tools and inventory by prioritizing issues, communicating to the appropriate personnel to drive seamless flow of quality material through to completion.
Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Coordinate component in-transit movement from INTR (In-transit) to Vendor Consigned Stock
  • Work with CPG Supply Planner to create and communicate Subcon builds
  • Understand CPG build priorities and work with subcons to help prioritize
  • Reconcile and verify consigned component inventory at subcons on a monthly basis
  • Work with subcontractor to close out older PO’s with remnant open quantities and scrap balance
  • Collaborate with subcontractor on build issues related to inventory, components, raw materials, etc.
  • Maintain area product/process knowledge.
  • Demonstrate ability to use computer-based programs and applications to perform daily job duties.
  • Demonstrate effective efficiency and multi-tasking skills.
  • Communicate equipment and process problems to area personnel.
  • Monitor and operate multiple tools.
  • Identify when equipment/tools require technical support.
  • Remain productive during idle times by seeking out projects or additional tasks.
  • Follow priorities and manage time effectively

  • Share area information.
  • Assist others in completing projects and/or activities as needed.
  • Support change management.
  • Participate in meetings with a positive and constructive attitude.

Troubleshoot Problems With Equipment, Processes, And Product
  • Report inventory, system, software issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Apply problem solving techniques using available tools and resources to suggest solution to area, process, or product non-conforming issues.

Contribute To Area Quality
  • Communicate ideas and participate in activities to improve processes, quality, and equipment.
  • Promote quality standards for products and processes.
  • Display strong attention to detail when verifying, tracking, or processing product.
  • Prevent scrap by using proper handling methods when working with or transporting product.
  • Raise awareness of handling or incoming product issues.
  • Verify lot information and accuracy when tracking.

Support And Perform EHSS Responsibilities
  • Identify and promptly report any conditions or behaviors that are contrary to EHS policies or procedures.
  • Follow safety procedures and area work rules (including use of proper PPE, energy isolation, and chemical safety).
  • Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturer and company guidelines.
  • Use proper lifting techniques and work in an ergonomically correct manner.
  • Cooperate with all audits.
