The Role Responsibilities
The role-holder is responsible to lead/support PMO activities within the Retail Banking COO, Information %26amp; CyberSecurity (ICS) programme and at the same time support programme level analysis work.
Governance / PMO Deliveries:
  • Ensure timeliness, good quality and hygiene of Programme governance and Clarity management:
    • Status report are updated on monthly basis
    • Programme/ Project plans and updates are accurately captured in Clarity
    • Financial and Headcount are updated and tracked regularly
    • RAID and Action logs are properly maintained and tracker
    • Benefit plans are updated and tracked regularly against programme plans
  • Clarity Change Request and all necessary approvals are made within 4weeks from PgSC/ Change Forum approval dates
  • Support the preparation of PgSC Pack
  • Support Clarity PED/ Change Request/ Closure Report creation and approval
  • Ensure that all governance documents such as PED, Change Requests, Closure Report, ADMP, PgMP have the necessary approvals / signoffs and are stored in designated PDR
  • Ensure that Project JIRA/ Confluence links are maintained and updated by GPO and CSM

Regulatory, Assurance %26amp; Audit
  • Ensure all programme documents, plans and related activities are compliant with ePMO and PMS standards
  • Provide support and work with GPO to provide GIA, Delivery Assurance, ICS TRP PMO, S166 or Regulatory queries
  • Achieve positive Assurance, PMO, S166 or GIA review results
  • No failed findings

Programme Analyst
  • Consolidate and maintain monthly deployment tracker, including monitoring and evaluation of overall progress
  • Support on programme level ad-hoc analysis

The candidate must be a self-motivated, proactive and resourceful with an excellent network with ability to work in a fast-paced environment against an uncertain regulatory back-drop. Additional qualifications:
  • University graduate with solid experience in the banking industry, exposure of key positions in Project Management, Business Process Management, Change Management and/or Management Consulting; with experience in a project management role or equivalent capacity
  • Broad understanding of ICS and Retail Banking
  • 5-8 years’ experience/knowledge in project and change management principles, approaches, methodologies, tools and phases of the project lifecycle (both Waterfall and Agile)
  • Preferably PMP / Agile Project Management Certified
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin), Korean or Bahasa a strong advantage. Fluency in English a must.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) PowerPoint, MS Outlook, Visio, and Microsoft Project desirable
  • Familiarity with Experience with large-scale organizational change programmes
  • Experience in similar co-ordination/administration roles with senior stakeholders
  • Previous PMO experience mandatory
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritizing skills
  • Highly organised with strong administrative knowledge and skills
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Strong problem-solving skills and root cause identification skills - i.e. methodical and thorough
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English, Chinese, Korean, etc.)
  • Ability to articulate complex issues concisely and communicate effectively and comfortably from senior through to junior members of SCB
