PROJECT MANAGERResponsibilities
• Provide project leadership, management & oversight of IT projects involving business consultation, estimation, planning & management of the technical team to deliver successful solutions.
• Assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities, identify & manage appropriate resources needed, develop & manage schedule to ensure timely execution of project(s).
• Manage project budget & achieve cost targets.
• Oversight of general project tasks, including chairing project meetings to ensure that projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets & expectations, & adhering to established operating parameters.
• Plan, schedule & track project timelines & milestones using appropriate tools.
• Develop & execute the project's communication plan.
• Manage project risks & scope & identify & resolve issues which may impact the project results.
• Prepare & report timely project status to appropriate stakeholders.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises & devise contingency plans.
• Establish strong stakeholder relationships to manage any internal & external risks to the project.
• Conduct project post mortems & create a recommendations report in order to identify successful & unsuccessful project elements.
• Comply with all standard controls & processes, both internally including IT System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), change management & change control processes, & externally as defined by business/operating unit processes.
• Participate in the development & maintenance of processes, best practices, & templates relating to business systems analysis, communication standards, & general project management practices.
Job Description
• 5+ years’ experience in IT Project Management / Applications Project Manager
• Successful prior experience as a project manager, with demonstrated experience in managing & implementing multiple large scale technical projects in the financial services industry.
• A strong appreciation of key business drivers & an understanding of the IT impact upon the business
• Working knowledge of technical/system products being used in the organization.
• Proficient in the use of project management tools i.e. Microsoft Project including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
• Experience with formal project/software delivery methodologies.
• Has thorough understanding of the business that the assigned projects are supporting. Uses this understanding of the business & systems environment to develop appropriate and timely solutions to daily issues
Education/Qualification
• Professional IT qualification/IT degree/related degree or diploma.
• Preferably PMP certified
BUSINESS ANALYST
• Provide BAU frontend support to Transaction Banking systems, e.g. Cash Management System, Trade Finance System, etc
• Champion enhancements of existing TB systems and new initiatives (project) from end-to-end, including – gather requirement, document user requirement specification, review functional specification, prepare UAT test scripts, execute UAT test cases, provide implementation & post production support, etc
• Collaborate with LOB counterparts, IT, Risk, Compliance and other stakeholders to optimize business benefits and ensure compliance in implementation of TB systems
• Driving the prioritization & development of TB system initiatives & enhancements, and to provide the necessary training and support to other teams
• Work with other teams & departments in user requirements preparation, testing and implementation of system initiatives & enhancements
• Manage deliverables of the project/product life cycle

• Degree in Information Technology, Business or Finance related disciplines
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills
• Self-starter, can-do attitude, customer centric mindset
• IT savvy or strong technical background preferred
• Qualification or experience in project management is an added advantage
• Domain knowledge in banking, especially Transaction Banking, is an added advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
