Why does this job exist and why is it critical​
Drive, plan, oversee and track all the projects till closure. Consolidate and track project deliverables such as initiatives, deliverables, project meetings, budget planning & utilization and to make sure the scope of each project is delivered on schedule within allocated budget. Manage projects independently or be in charge of a team of project managers to get the job done.
What are you accountable for
  • Act as a lead role in managing project delivery portfolio. To develop project charter, manage projects individually or to manage a group of PMs for a common goal of project delivery as per scheduled. To lead in CNE steering co meeting, compile information and to present in the forum.
  • To plan activity and resource. Define project scope, determine available resources, set time estimates to meet project deadlines. Able to work along unpredictable outcome and make adjustments to achieve project deliverables and closure.
  • Organize and motivate a project team. To develop a clear, straightforward plan that stimulates the teams to reach their full potential. Able to cut down bureaucracy and steer the team to a clear path to reach the goal.
  • Responsible for time management, meeting dateline. Define and sequence activity, estimate duration of activity, develop and maintain a schedule to ensure project successfully delivered on time.
  • Estimate cost and develop the budget. Drive to deliver Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and responsible to frequently review the budget and plan ahead to avoid budget overruns.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction. Responsible to minimize uncertainty, avoid unwanted surprises and involve the customer in the projects progress as much as is deemed reasonable to ensure customer is happy.
  • Analyse and manage project risk. Responsible to identify and evaluate potential risks, hurdles and pitfalls before project commences and able to avoid risks and to minimize the risk impact.
  • Monitoring progress. Responsible to monitor and analyse project progress, expenditures and team performance and efficiently take corrective measure in order to deliver project on time and within budget.
  • Manage reports and documentation. To produce comprehensive reports documenting all projects requirements are fulfilled, projects history, includes what was done, who was involved and how could be done better.

What do you need to have for this role
  • Bachelors DegreeSpecialized in: Engineering/ Telecom
  • Total Work Experience: 10 to 15 years
  • Total Relevant Experience: 4 to 6 years
  • Experienced project manager with good project management skill, PMP preferred Structured, proactive in managing complex deliverables Knowledge in telco, especially in network engineering will be an added advantage
