The Role Responsibilities

  • Awareness, understanding and adhering to the Group's NWoW, SCB processes and procedures and Malaysia regulatory policies in relation to project implementation.

  • Ability to understand of retail banking products and able to solicit and come out with thorough business requirements with business stakeholders.

  • Ability to lead business stakeholders throughout the entire project life cycle - from raising of ideas for assessment, requirements gathering, walkthrough of functional specification, preparation of test scenario and data, conducting UAT/UVT, implementation of project and closure of project.
  • Comply to SCB and local Country regulatory processes/procedures/policies throughout the entire project.

Risk Management
  • Ensuring SCB processes, procedure and policies and regulatory policies are followed and complied with.

  • Ensuring effective governance, oversight and controls of project at all time especially in areas pertaining to SCB processes, procedure and policies and regulatory policies

Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the MY CPBB projects to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients Effective Financial Markets Financial Crime Compliance The Right Environment.] .
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key Stakeholders
  • All MY CPBB GMs, other business units stakeholders (MY and Group), PRC and technical teams.
  • Regulator - BNM and Paynet
  • Vendors and Scheme (Visa and MasterCard)

Other Responsibilities
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • PMP Certification required.
  • Extensive experience in Project management and implementation - Agile and conventional SDLC.
  • Extensive experience in the area of Retail Banking, Business Transformation and System Integration.
