Job Description
You are responsible to innovate, build effective processes and systems for all Micron Assembly Test manufacturing sites worldwide driving Best-in-Class Quality, covering areas such as Control Systems (SPC), FMEA, etc. In this role, you serve as Global Quality Representative in Malaysia site, and would cover Global Roles Assigned
Responsibilities and Tasks
-Lead all Micron Assembly Test Manufacturing Sites to develop and improve control systems using FMEA based risk mitigation process. This includes New Product/Package Introduction and Customer Requirements, ensuring product meet Quality and Reliability specification.
-Champion control engineering strategies and metrics, directing process variation reduction and deviation prevention throughout the control points in manufacturing process.
-Partner with Assembly Test sites Subject Matter Experts, in developing strong quality controls specification and systems. This include Micron Sub-con Assembled products.
-Enforce Quality Culture mindset working together with manufacturing site partners through strong communication platform, leveraging Quality Improvement Teams, applying Quality Tools and Methodologies.
-Collaborate with Global teams on Quality initiatives, driving engineering activities to meet Company Quality Strategic objectives and goal.
Skills and Experience
- Have more than 4 years working experience in assembly and test industry with minimum 2 years direct assembly packaging process engineering experience.
- Experience in 8D, FMEA, SPC, FDC, QMS, 6S and other Quality Tools (Lean Six Sigma Methodology, etc)
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and manufacturing software support systems (JMP, SPACE, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience in process engineering on New Product Development is a plus point
- Good communication and strong ability to work with various team from different background. Able to influence stakeholders in complex network and drive for alignment
- Inquisitive and with an eye for detail, proven track record in successful probing during problem solving and root cause investigation. Able to think out of the box, and ability to navigate out of deadlock situation
- Strong organization skill and good hands on in Project Management
Education
- A Bachelor/Master from Mechanical, Material, Chemical, Electrical Engineering
Travel
- Required - estimate range from once per quarter to once per year (subject to travel planning and approval, and Covid Consideration & Planning)
