We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our Human Resource Division as Recruiter reporting to the Head, Resourcing Centre to drive talent acquisition strategy and employer branding. At OCBC Bank, you will partner with a variety of teams including internal HR stakeholders, business and support functions and external stakeholders to support the Bank’s talent acquisition needs. In addition, you will be responsible for creating a meaningful talent acquisition and branding strategy that captures the essence of OCBC and spearhead employer branding events, both internally and externally, that inspire thoughtful dialogue about our work and culture.
Key Accountabilities
The Recruiter will play a leading role and will be responsible for executing in several core areas in our talent acquisition agenda, including:
1.Manage the full life cycle of the recruitment process while partnering with hiring managers to plan and implement cost-effective sourcing strategies that identify and deliver top talent.
2.Build and maintain networks of potential candidates for the Business and support functions through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management.
3.Source high quality talent; build networks to find qualified passive candidates and develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need; collect market intelligence on talent supply, competitor trends, etc.
4.Ensure all compliance and regulatory guidelines are met and that internal recruiting policy and practices are executed.
5.Develop and communicate recommendations to hiring managers based on knowledge of the markets, candidate and talent strategies.
6.Cultivate a network of relationships inside and outside the organization; work with hiring managers to help promote opportunities out to their networks.
7.Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
8.Self-directed, highly organized, and be able to complete time-sensitive assignments with composure and perseverance. Qualifications
Candidate Requirements:
1.Candidate with a degree is preferred however, those without a degree but with relevant experience will be considered.
2.At least 2 - 3 years of experience in mass/high volume Recruitment and Employer Branding in a sizable organization, preferably with exposure to financial institutions. Familiar with Consumer Sales, SME Sales, Contact Centre mass hiring will be an advantage.
3.Individual who is meticulous, hands on experience with candidate sourcing, interviewing and evaluation.
4.Familiarity with Recruitment systems such as Taleo, Oracle, Linked-In, Glassdoor, JobStreet, etc.
5.Meticulous with strong self-motivation and independence with ability to work at fast paced recruitment.
6.Excellent client service attitude and strong negotiation skills.
7.Ability to work under pressure, well-versed in communication and interpersonal skills.
8.Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long term relationships (with internal teams, external partners and candidates).
9.Great sense of ownership and servicing mind-set to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
