We are currently looking for Regional Global Mobility Lead to be part of the new People Services Team. In this role, you will be accountable for leading the operational delivery of GSK’s regional geographically based Mobility service to include, International Assignments, Permanent International Relocations and Domestic relocation services on a ‘host’ or ‘receiving’ basis. You will be the point of escalation for the customers, - mobile employee and internal customers and manage the governance of any exceptions requested outside of GSK Global Policy framework.
Other KeyResponsibilities:
  • Key contact in the region for the Mobility service:
    • Single point of contact for all customer Personas of the Mobility services
    • Single point of contact for GSK preferred Vendors
    • Lead contact with Reward Business Leads and HR business leads for the regional Business Mobility reports to support robust business decisions on use of assignments for talent moves around the world
    • Identify key talent and nurture for appropriate succession planning
    • Serves as the main point of contact for stakeholders within the Region, potentially in partnership with Peers in other regions, and Mobility Preferred Vendors, to advise on cross-geography moves
    • Counselling, coordinating and delivering Reward activities (P&R, International Assignee, Letter of Assignments, Compensation Statements, International Assignee payrolls.) for VIP population
  • Provide BI information to the business using data analytics to define and measure the ROI and management of the service, in partnership with Primary Partner
  • Lead and manage major domestic site consolidations for large scale populations
  • Manage any escalations within the region and ensure timely escalation to Hub leader and where appropriate escalate to the Head of Global Mobility in Reward COE
  • Develop and foster stakeholder relationships with colleagues in People services, HR Business Leaders and business leads in aligned geography in order to provide specialist support for cross regional mobility projects.
  • Advises HR and line management on available mobility options including individual package design based on core talent, reward, and process and governance guidance. Tailored Mobility advice also ensures tax, payroll, social security and immigration compliance is maintained in order to minimize risk to GSK
  • Ownership of complex assignment arrangements, new country setup or adaptation of current process / policy to adhere to ad hoc changes in tax or immigration legislation in a particular jurisdiction in partnership with Global Tax and Tax / Immigration provider.
  • Own on-going education of HR, line management and current / potential mobile employees on Mobility policies and processes, potential compliance concerns, core Talent Management implications, considering the Mobility end-to-end process, within aligned region.
  • Acting as Voice of Customer by actively contributing to process and policy improvements through the participation at regular team meetings and ad hoc Mobility projects.
  • Partner with Global Long-Term Incentive Plan Programmes and Services in maintaining accurate data on Mobility Assignees to ensure Long-Term Incentives are granted appropriately.
  • Proactively and accurately manages all escalation including the governance of exceptions requested
  • Partner with GSK preferred Vendors ensuring accurate and timely update of GSK employee data in GSK systems

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources or equivalent
  • Significant experience in mobility including immigration and service excellence
  • Experience coordinating efforts across multiple countries with direct exposure to specific regional requirements affecting project deliverables
  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience in vendor management
