ABOUT THE JOB
Reporting to the regional executive director - Asia, your responsibility will be to define and execute an appropriate sales strategy, including the growth of new partnerships, exploration and identification of new partnerships to maximize sales and profitability in Malaysia.
Act as a Business Representative/Brand Ambassador at fairs, industry events, conferences, and trade shows, attending key events to generate leads.
Define and execute appropriate sales strategies, including business development, marketing, technical, operational and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability.
To establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the market area and contribute to the development of the brand in the country including the full operation of the company in Kuala Lumpur.
JOB DESCRIPTION
General management of the office in Kuala Lumpur, including hiring possible new staffs, and other setting operations to make the company operates.
• Achieve Sales targets for Malaysia
• Travel throughout the territory, visiting customers, partners and leads.
• Market research to determine potential opportunities.
• Understanding clients’ needs and proposing solutions.
• Maintain existing relationships with Customers & Channel Partners.
• Preparation of quotations, presentations etc.
• Prepare action plans to penetrate new markets and acquire new accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports.
• Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Forecasting across Sales.
• Potentially managing other Sales Staff as country’s sales grows.
• Able to multitask.
• Make possible business trips to our factories in Brazil, headquarter in Singapore or other international fairs.
• Planning and managing sales strategies.
• Managing the outsourced logistics.
• Other duties as may be assigned by the Company.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent. MBA is a plus.
• Must have B2B sales experience and good sales track record
• At least 2 years of working experience in Household segment is required for this position
• Strong understanding of Retail market and online platforms
• Negotiation skills qualification.
• Creative, open-minded and mental flexibility are essential
• Able to provide professional and satisfactory customer service
• Good administrative, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Good attitude and strong sense of responsibility and urgency
• Natural leader of people with excellent managerial and motivational skills to drive and deliver and over achieve sales targets
• Sales-driven, positive and results-oriented
• You must have developed an established network of contacts across the segment we act
• Possess Experience of multi-channel (Omni channel) Sales strategies.
• Shows Proven track record of key account management, distributor management and business development
• Basic to advanced Microsoft skills
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
