Job Description

Client Background:
Our client was primarily engaged in the trading of plastic materials and currently in the distribution of plastic materials. We have been supplying different plastic polymer like ABS, HIPS, PCR ABS, PC/ABS, PLA, PC/PC ALLOY, and other thermoplastics. We also provide environmentally friendly materials, engineering plastic, electronic components, auto parts, etc. The company is optimistic about the prospect of biomass energy and has actively invested in bio-degradable materials: PLA. We now provide ocean bond, 100% post-consumer recycled plastic materials to take part in a circular economy for plastic products.

Remuneration: Basic + Benefits
  • Search, review and analyze for new and existing vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
  • Ensure that the products and supplies match the requirement of individual orders.
  • Maintain and update list of customers and suppliers and their details.
  • Maintain sales and purchases relevant report.
  • Prepare a monthly report of each business unit expenses.
  • Work with colleagues and superior to complete duties as needed.
  • Maintain stock taking process up to date.

  • · Preparation of Purchase Order, Purchase Requisition, Sales Order, Sales Billing, Delivery Order and Quotation etc.
    · Monitor/manage delivery and documentation.
  • Work closely with Sales team, Warehouse team and Accounting team.
  • Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when necessary.
  • Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Inform customers of unforeseen delays or problems.
  • To keep track on confirm orders

  • Requirements:
    1. At least Diploma or above in Business Administration or any relevant studies.
    2. At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in Plastics industry.
    3. Languages: English, Malay and Mandarin.
    4. Mandarin speakers preferable as role requires to liaise with Mandarin speaking suppliers and customers.
    5. Computer literate in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc).
    6. Able to perform well under pressure.
    7. Good communication skills and coordination.
    8. Ability to solve problems quickly.
