You will act as a Sales Specialist for Electrification products concentrating on Heavy Industries to work on pro-active basis with contractor, EPC & End User to achieve targeted growth. Influence customer specifications. Arrange and deliver customer presentation and participate in commercial & technical meetings in Electrification, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will lead and coach the local sales organization to meet ambitious targets and exceed customer expectations.

Your responsibilities

  • Driving sales volume and margin across the Electrification portfolio.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and your knowledge of customer needs and ABB solutions.
  • Preparing sales plans and bids, with marketing and other departments, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
  • Contributing to the identification and development of new market opportunities in collaboration with the wider Sales team.
  • Monitoring customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing team.

Your background

  • Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in electrical industry (Switchgear) as well as segment / application knowledge in heavy industry market
  • Broad understanding of direct sales to heavy Industry customer.
  • Technical knowledge of switchgear.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and ability to work across reporting lines
  • Exceptional communication and negotiating skills, customer-focused mindset and a professional.
