Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Product, UX/UI and Backend teams to design, build and extend consumer and/or partner facing new products, platforms and features.
  • Android application development for enterprise apps as well as Google Play Store apps.
  • Create technical design from requirements and architectural design.
  • Routine maintenance and enhancement of existing apps.
  • Produce quality software as a team.
  • Build applications in memory and network-constrained scenarios.
  • Research new technology, development methods and tools for day-to-day activity.
Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of programming concepts in Java.
  • Knowledge or strong interest in Kotlin would be advantageous.
  • At least 5 year(s) experience in implementation, design and software development.
  • At least 3 year(s) of Android related experience. 
  • Familiarity with the Material design language.
  • Experience working closely with back-end developers and understanding of how to consume APIs.
  • Experience with source-control practices such as Git and fastidious about code quality.
  • Experience with securing APKs against de-compilation and reverse engineering.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
  • Passionate, Persistent and Creative - to find clever solutions to problems in a non-hacking manner.
  • Agile methodologies experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
