Mercer Malaysia is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Kuala Lumpur - Q Sentral office:
Senior Consultant - Talent Strategy (Assessment & Engagement Solutions)
In line with its growth, goals the Senior Consultantwill assist clients with a range of Talent Strategy Solutions, to identify, win and deliver strategic and signature consulting projects.
In addition to leading and delivering client engagements, this role will have direct accountability to identify business opportunities with prospective clients and grow revenues in line with the business strategic direction.
Through acting as an advisor to some of the world's largest and most renowned firms, the role will also contribute significantly to shaping the future of new and innovative reward solutions.

We will count on you to:
  • Leverage talent strategy expertise and thought leadership to deliver significant change for Mercer's clients, independently leading on a wide range of Talent Strategy projects and act as a work stream lead on the most programs.
  • Manage the project workflow to ensure that deliverables are met on time
  • Interpret data and other components to assess and determine the direction of a project, review project workflow and implications of scope with Project Managers and Project Sponsors.
  • Assists and independently lead in writing and structuring client presentations/reports by using data such as averages, trends, and stochastic models to create summary exhibits in presentations and to draft initial observations/recommendations and conclusions for review by senior consultants or on the project.
  • Coordinate and review client data while supervising junior consultants including: tracking what has been received and what are outstanding, identifying issues or discrepancies with data, raising any issues independently with the client.
  • Interpret the data and determine 'the story' outlined to the client - determine client implications as it relates to data.
  • Answer client questions regarding Mercer project methodology. Lead internal team meetings (set agendas, take notes, execute most action items afterwards
  • Conduct general research using internet and internal databases to gather information on client or prospective client business information including acquisition history and business performance

What you need to have:
  • 7-10 years of applying HR Talent / Engagement Tools such Psychometric, Behavioral and Skills Assessment in a HR Consulting Firm
  • Solid experience in developing Talent Road Maps based on clients needs and drive data analytics post project roll out.
  • Able to manage a small to medium team
  • Able to network and present sales pitch to key leaders in large organizations
