Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform design, code reviews and recommend improvements to existing designs
  • Design, test and implement analog/digital circuit, component selection and schematic capture
  • PCB layout, built prototype, characterise, analyze and interpret performance data
  • Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
  • Develop and prepare technical reports, design analysis and documentation in support of designs
  • Prepare products specifications and define full product behaviour with state diagram
  • Breakdown of state diagram into modular design for code reusability & test planning
  • Validate the system to check its functionality, ensure product are operating smoothly and user-environment-friendly
  • Evaluate the performance of the system, troubleshoot and diagnose errors if any

Job Requirements:

  • At least Degree / Master in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Electromechanical/Computer Engineering), or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years technical experience in product design
  • Proficient in C/C++ for Embedded controller such as 8-bit/16-bit/ ARM Cortex microcontrollers
  • Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout using Eagle EDA Software
  • Experience in designing circuit that works with embedded hardware (MCU, Memory, LCD driver) and analog circuitry (RF Chipset, SMPS, Signal Conditioning, Cap Sense, Analog Sensor)
  • Experience in using lab and test equipment such as digital oscilloscopes, RF Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Logic Analyzer to perform test verification activities
  • Experience in documentation like PCB guidelines, processes, checklists and training materials
  • Familiar with fabrication and assembly processes and materials
