Job Description

  • Planning, producing, documenting, implementing, and overseeing campaign strategies, goals, budgets, timelines, and relationships across multiple brands, projects, and channels including, PPC, SEO, SMM & Google ads.
  • Develop reporting structure and KPIs for performance across marketing channels & brands.
  • Collect, tabulate, summarise, present and analyse campaign results and data in-house and with marketing agency partners regularly.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports explaining causes of campaign performance and recommending improvements in an organised, easily understandable, and actionable format.
  • Think creatively, advise and design best practice online marketing innovative strategies to drive conversion rates and ensure campaigns reach target audiences in the most effective and cost efficient way
  • Develop detailed customer avatars, customer journeys, marketing funnels, customer service SOPs, and strategies to convert customers at every stage of the funnel.
  • Creating or recommending certain media strategies to attract and retain customers, increase the brands’ recognition, and maintain and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Project manage all responsible parties for on-time, on-budget deliverables, ensuring accurate campaign cost tracking and that campaign goals are achieved.
  • Conduct in depth market research to identify trends and opportunities, understand existing customers, and identify target audiences. Must analyse their characteristics, behaviour and media habits, and decide how best to communicate to these audiences.
  • Work with Senior Marketing Executive throughout the creative process to develop innovative, insight-driven digital campaigns bringing measurable ROI.
  • Dive deep into campaign performance data; guide KPI driven measurement strategies, identify performance trends, optimize campaigns to achieve results, and provide recommendations for upsell opportunities.
  • Oversee billing and forecasting and document monthly ad claims.

MAA Group Berhad (“MAAG) is a Malaysian investment holding company listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia.

MAAG has a long history, commencing operations as Malaysian American Assurance Company Berhad (“MAAB) in 1968, which was principally engaged in the General and Life insurance businesses. In 1985, MAAB changed its name to Malaysian Assurance Alliance Berhad (“MAA Assurance).

MAAG (formerly known as MAA Holdings Berhad) was incorporated on 4 November 1998 under the Companies Act, 1965. It became the holding company of MAA Assurance and other non-insurance subsidiaries through a corporate restructuring exercise when the listing status of MAA Assurance was transferred to MAAG in 1999. In 2011, MAA Holdings Berhad became MAAG with the sale of MAA Assurance to Zurich Insurance Company Limited ('Zurich Insurance').

For over 4 decades, through its subsidiaries and associate companies, MAAG was principally engaged in Conventional Life and General Insurance, Unit Trust, Family Takaful and General Takaful businesses, Asset Management, Trust Fund, Property Management and Services, Information Technology and Security Services.

In June 2016, the Group disposed of its 75% stake in MAA Takaful Berhad (now known as Zurich Takaful Malaysia Berhad), a subsidiary engaged in takaful business to Zurich Insurance. With this sale, the Group exited the local financial services sector regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia.

MAAG has remained an investment holdings company. The Group’s significant business segments are General Insurance and Education Services. The Group’s other segments comprise of hire purchase, leasing and other credit activities, property management, IT consultancy and business debt factoring services.

Notwithstanding the aforesaid business portfolio, the Group is currently engaged in an extensive search for additional new core business(es) to further diversify its income streams.

As at 31 December 2019, the Group’s total assets stood at RM839 million.
