Position Description: Self-motivated individual who is responsible for technical support for the Lenovo Global eCommerce & eService applications/tools including automating solutions to advance our IT offerings and vision. Work with broad cross functional teams like Web Architecture, Product Owner and Software Development to understand business direction and requirements and assist in operational solutions to address those needs. Need to show a proven ability to operate and support web based solutions. Candidate needs to be self-driven, able to work independently and very passionate with IT technology advancements. Reporting to the eCommerce Site Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of the IT Operations functional aspects. Position Requirements: We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic eCommerce Support Engineer who has the following qualities – Technical Qualifications: OS – Linux, Unix, Windows. Data Sources – MySQL, Mongo, Redis, SOLR Source Control – GIT Test and Build systems – Jenkins Scripting – Ansible, Regex, Shell / Python Web Servers – Apache, Tomcat, Node.js Micro Services and Containerization Technology – Kubernetes, Docker Cloud Technologies – AWS Cloud / Microsoft Azure Logging – ELK / Splunk Monitoring tools – Dynatrace, Splunk APM Sound knowledge of Multi Layered Web Architecture Sound knowledge of Performance Test tools like Selenium, JMeter, etc Sound knowledge of Network – Firewall, Load Balancing, Reverse Proxy, DNS, Whitelist/Blacklist IP Security – SSL, Web security scans, Checksum, etc. CDN – Akamai / Edge Cast / Cloudflare Able to read and understand the following programming languages – Java, Java Script, HTML, CSS Ticketing tools – Jira, Remedy Job Requirements: Administer a Global eCommerce Site infrastructure, Kubernetes platform and configurations. Troubleshoot and root cause any site latency or issues that arise day-to- day. Develop automations to reduce manual operational processes – DevOps CI/CD. Perform site performance monitoring to determine system performance bottlenecks. Work with other cross-functional and enterprise-wide organizations to develop system and process enhancements. Understand business requirements, both current and future, and design automation solutions to achieve the business directives. Promote increased levels of productivity within the eCommerce Operations team while maintaining high level of individual productivity. Bachelor of Computer Science / Information Technology from a reputable university/college with a minimum 2 years of working experience in IT application development and support.
