To provide legal support through advisory work, drafting and review of documentation to business and support units as well as ad hoc projects. This includes support in relation to review and drafting of transactional and product documentation as well as commercial contracts such as IT & IT related contracts.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Providing legal support through advisory work based on ad hoc requests from various business and operational units within the Bank (for example, service contracts, IT contracts, real estate matters).
  • Reviewing and drafting various documentation – commercial contracts, loan documentation, product, marketing collaterals, etc.
  • Active project support through provision of legal advice.
  • To add value through analytical review of available information and make well-considered recommendations
  • To multi-task effectively when meeting with conflicting deadlines and multiple demands.
  • If required, to represent Legal Department as a member of working groups where legal representation is required.
  • To ensure well-considered opinions are rendered so as to ensure the organisation’s interests are protected from a legal perspective.
  • To provide guidance and awareness to the operating units on potential legal issues.

Job Requirements:
  • A law graduate from a reputable university with at least 8 years PQE and with solid prior experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating IT and/or Technology related contracts.
  • Must have a strong academic record, analytic and research skills.
  • Experience gained either from a reputable international law firm, or in-house position in a multinational company is highly desirable.
  • Preferably has working experience in IT and/or Technology industry.
  • Strong commercial sense and ability to make practical evaluations of risks.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under strict timelines.
  • Hands-on, attention to details and adaptable.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • MS word/ Microsoft Excel/ Power Point.
