The Role Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from different stakeholders within Technology
  • Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization
  • Work with stakeholders to understand and map processes
  • Perform analysis to assess the quality of the data
  • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Design and prepare analytics%27 reports for useful business insights to assist the compliance;
  • Identify areas where performance or processes can be improved

Risk Management
  • Work with Risk %26amp; Control to ensure all potential/identified risks arising are managed.
  • Pro-actively manage the domain operational risk profile and assist in managing risk related issues

Regulatory %26amp; Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Educational background in statistics, computer science
  • Strong critical thinking skills, willing to find creative solutions to difficult problems
  • Experience using Tableau or other BI Tools for reporting and analyses
  • Programming languages, such as SQL, Oracle and Python
  • Ability to analyse, model and interpret data
  • Methodical and logical approach to work
  • Ability to plan work and meet deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent understanding of IT operational processes and familiarity with standards and trends in the industry relative to IT processes
