Job Grade: R6
Primary Objective
  • Manage the group processes by assisting the business/operating units in formulating their operational requirements in meeting our customer’s expectations
  • Ensure adequate Process Governance is adopted by all relevant business/operating units in their processes

Key Responsibilities
Projects and Documentations
Documentation
  • Develop, review, improve and upgrade the quality of processes in the Group to meet customer’s expectations, changing business needs and improve the total customer experience while enhancing operational efficiency, effectiveness and competitiveness.
  • Liaise with relevant parties to include risk mitigation factors, control aspects, adoption of best practices and conformity to regulatory and industry requirements with leverage on IT capabilities and new technologies.
  • Review and provide effective documentation of operational documents related to the processes of products, services and systems as defined by Process Owners or instituted by regulations and industry practices.

Implementation
  • Assist to address process/procedural issues. Manage the implementation of process changes arising from new or revised processes with clear communication to the relevant users and authorities within and outside RHB Banking Group.

Advisory Assistance
  • Provide advisory support on processes, procedures, industry best practices and to RHB Banking Group on documentation concepts and standards.
  • Interpret and clarify prevailing policies, procedures and banking regulations. Liaise with internal/external parties, where necessary.

Others
  • Coach and guide resources on further process and documentation skills.
  • Share best practices and provide internal/external training.
  • Oversee/approve the dissemination of approved documents effectively.

Requirements
  • Degree in related disciplines e.g. Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Financial Institutions preferably with a number of years with Systems & Methods related work
  • Strong documentation & writing skills with proficiency in English and standard Microsoft Office/flowchart skills.
  • Good knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Good knowledge of the industry best practices & statutory requirements
  • Reliable, resourceful & highly committed to timelines
