Job Description

  • Strategizes and leads the business development plan for the assigned corporate loan portfolio.
  • Build a wide client network and timely initiate prospects and assess opportunities/needs for an assigned portfolio of corporate relationship and new clients/accounts.
  • Getting to know the Corporate Market development for assigned Corporate Loan Portfolio.
  • Cross-selling of Bank and other RHB Group's products.
  • Proactively manage loan portfolio and protect loan quality.

Scope & Complexity
  • Proactive management and grow the assigned portfolio of corporate loans.
  • Increase depth of relationship and provide holistic solutions to meet customers needsand maximise risk adjusted returns (RAROC / ROA) from the assigned portfolioin line withagreed business plan.
  • Builds a wide client network and timely initiate prospect and assess opportunities/needs for new clients/accounts.
  • Timely periodic review of the assigned portfolio.
  • Undertake timely assessment on any relevant adverse market news and /or unsatisfactory account conduct which may affect the credir profile of the borrowers .

  • Implement and execute strategies and business development plan for the assigned portfolio.
  • Provide guidance to Relationship Manager and Junior Relationship Manager within the team.

  • Delivers excellent service standard and trouble shoots problems & complaints from clients.

Interpersonal Skills
  • 'First-to-know' with regards to corporate market development by maintaining regular customer visitation/contacts.
  • Participate in account planning with Client Coverage Team and collaborate with other product partners where appropriate.
  • Group Corporate Banking's principal liaison officer for the assigned portfolio for cross selling contacts and external parties.

  • Cross-referral to other product partners across the RHB Group.

  • Minimum 7 years experience in corporate and/or investment banking at an established financial institution.
  • Strong credit writing , analysis and structuring skills.
  • Excellent marketing/business prospecting and negotiation skills.
  • Presentation skills,
  • Driven, goal oriented and possess strong relationshipmanagement skills.
