Job Description



Role Responsibilities

Strategy/Business/Processes/Risk Management

  • Definition and execution of Risk Management for the FM Technology domain

  • Scope and plan thematic risk/control reviews aligning with the Domains key objectives, Group Internal Audit themes and key risk areas

  • Scope and plan risk/control reviews of significant new projects

  • Represent the Domain as the Single Point of Contract on all internal/external audits and regulatory inspections

  • Represent the Domain for key risk related remediation initiatives

  • Monitor and escalate material actions and risks arising from reviews

  • Review adequacy of management response to audit issues/actions

  • Review progress and ensure timely closure of audit issues/actions

  • Ensure management is kept aware of the Risk & control profile of the Domain through accurate and comprehensive periodic reporting


Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.


Key Stakeholders

  • Domain(s) Heads and Process Owners within and outside of the Domain(s) in the management of controls

  • Peer Snr. Risk Manager / Risk Manager in other Domain(s)s in managing cross Domain(s) operational risks and sharing of best practices

  • 2nd line (ITO Risk & Control/HICS) for discussions and steering with regards to group initiatives

  • Process Governance team for process and control metrics

  • Group Internal Audit and external auditors on audit and reviews.



Our Ideal Candidate


  • 12-15 years experience in a risk related role

  • Certification in CISA (Certified Information System Auditor) or other related qualification
