Job Description

Reporting to:General Manager & Technical Director

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide continuous post implementation support to client after each software/application delivered.
  • Maintain and improve web applications, web services and mobile applications.
  • Coordinate with the customers and plan for resources to resolve problems.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal teams to develop new software and maintain existing
  • systems.
  • Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing, adopting and following good
  • software development practices and processes.
  • Monitor systems to ensure they meet both customer needs and business goals.
  • Depending on the Service Level Agreement (SLA), provide 1st, 2nd or 3rd level support to the
  • customers.
  • Accountable for issue analysis and resolution within the agreed SLA turn-around time with the
  • customers.
  • Prepare Incident Report with root cause analysis and resolutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation about the tasks on hand.
Required Technical Skills:
3+ years of experience in using Solaris, AIX or Linux
3+ years of experience in programming in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Intermediate level experience in:
  • Java SDK (Maven/ Gradle)
  • Java EE technologies
  • RDBMS (Oracle/ MySQL)
  • Application server (Tomcat/ WebSphere AS)
  • SOAP API
  • Browser testing tool (Eg. Selenium)
  • Load testing tools (Eg. JMeter)
  • Distributor Version Control tools (Mercurial/ Git)
  • Virtualization technologies (VMware/ Docker/ VirtualBox)
Required Non-Technical Skills:
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience in coaching and mentoring.
Flexible and pragmatic in software development in order to meet aggressive deadlines
Positive attitude towards adopting new technologies and solution
Able to suggest tools and technologies which may improve the
operation of the Support Team
