Description
Primary Objective:
To support the smooth functioning of Credit Evaluation by lead and manage End Financing Evaluation Section to deliver department’s goals, Key Initiatives and Key Performance Indicators as well as ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation and Service Level Agreements, Bank and BNM guidelines and Service Quality Standards and accomplish department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating section activities.
Key Responsibilities:
    Process, review and recommend for EF project and/or floor stocking with minimal supervision Provide feedback to Section Head for annual review for the developer tiering, developer impairement, high risk area and post approval monitoring with Alternate Sales Channel EF team Ensure quality of project and developer assessment – better portfolio mix, minimize abandoned / delayed project risk Monitor TAT/SLA, concentration limit of project and other EF risk monitoring measures Provide feedback constant process and policy improvement for EF empanelment and ensure compliance with bank policy, BNM guideline and local rules & regulations Monitoring of adverse news on developer and/or projects and to take corrective action if need be to minimize the Bank exposure Perform mystery shopping calling and monitoring of problematic developers/directors/projects and multiple financing projects to be included in Internal Watchlist as Risk Trigger Identify problem with the process within Sections and propose solutions to improve the end to end process flow manually if automation is not available or as interim measure Set, review and communicate the project prioritization, quality standard, SLA to team members in line with the overall business targets Interact with the Business Unit and work with various support functions within the Bank to ensure that credit operational risks and processes are properly drawn up and addressed Manage own performance and responsible to provide constructive tracking Direct communication with respective Section head pertaining to daily WIP and clearance of any outstanding tasks Ensure Section’s operating expenses is within department’s budget Enforce compliance and control within the Section Execute any tasks given as and when is required or to backup other team when the need arise Ensure the resources in the Section/Department are effectively managed and rotated to develop multitasking individuals Perform duties and work assigned by Section Head, End Financing Evaluation, Head, Credit Evaluation and Head, Group Retail Credit as and when required

Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree - related field with 5 years experience in Credit/Valuation/Property Development.
    7 years experience in banking industry
    Good conceptual skill and able to contribute towards business development and implementation Strong knowledge of credit policies, procedures and practice and ability to make sound credit decisions Creative in solving problem and optimising resources Ability to work under pressure and a team player who is committed to team goals
