Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications.
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams and help troubleshoot issues.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure that the test environment is maintained and remain 'Fit for purpose' for the program of project deliverables.
  • Provide updates on project progress to QA Manager/stakeholders on a timely basis.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • BSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems Engineering, Business Information Systems or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) field.
  • Candidates from the Digital, Insuretech or Fintech industry would be preferred.
Required Knowledge & Technical Skills
  • Proven experience in the Software Quality Assurance field.
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and both white box and black-box testing.
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
  • Hands-on knowledge of coding experience (preferably Open Source).
  • Hands-on experience with software tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Non-functional testing such as Performance, Security and Load testing.
  • Test automation experience using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, etc.
  • Experienced in the testing of the following application domains: Front-end, Back-end, API and/or mobile
