Be the front-line seller who drives sales, identifying and generating opportunities for different kinds of customers. You will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations. You will develop customer relationships and understand customer business in order to provide appropriate products or solutions. You will provide education of Honeywell product through technical presentations. You will maintain and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system.
Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed the AOP and growth in orders, through direct or indirect (channel sales)
  • Responsible for HTS Portfolios (thermal heating solutions & products) across Malaysia
  • Build relationships and understand customer business in order to provide appropriate products or solutions
  • Interact with key Business, Sales and Marketing Leaders to ensure there is alignment between the business and sales needs
  • Foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations to develop customer relationships
  • Define sales and growth execution strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives and opportunity pipeline generation to achieve AOP targets.
  • Monitor and communicate your performance and business metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis to your Leadership.
  • Provide competitive intelligence and market trends to develop HTS breakthrough & growth initiatives
  • Provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP).
  • Use established processes and procedures to conduct daily business
  • Be compliant on all legal and EH&S requirements, policies, and procedures
  • Min. 50% sales related travel in-country required

  • Bachelor's degree and/or tertiary level technical/engineering and/or operations qualification
  • 5-7+ years Sales/ Management experience across Industrial Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, PetroChem, Spec Chem, Power Gen, etc
  • Experience working with direct and indirect channels sales route
  • Lead by influence with strong experience with corporate or internal sell
  • Strong business developer which includes cold calls
  • Understand the industrial and commercial thermal heating market
  • Enterprise level customer relationship and development skills
  • Ability to execute strategies promptly and effectively with direct improvement to the business
  • Well-developed business analysis skills including opportunity and risk assessment
  • Successful sales record
  • Technical understanding on applications and product knowledge of relevant products, sufficient to allow the production of clear and concise proposals.
  • Proven business acumen & Excellent presentation skills
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Excellent negotiation skills to convince others from both within and outside the organization to reach agreement to accept complete proposals and programs, for which both parties have common desire to reach solution
