Job Description
Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development. Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation. Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation. Performs Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs. Contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits. Performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from highlevel design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing. Analyzes equipment to establish operation infrastructure, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. May also review vendor capability to support development.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor or Masters of Engineering in Electronics, Computer or Electrical Engineering with an exposure to VLSI or IC design courses who: have a thirst to learn about new technology and participate in the development of next generation computing devices; loves to ask questions on anything and everything; are motivated and driven to understand complex issues and are challenged to find solutions to said problems; are team players yet able to work independently with minimal guidance; are passionate about computers, technology, programming, digital design and life in general Candidate will be assigned to work on the next generation of Data Platform product alongside with a strong existing SD team, empowering the future experience of computing devices. Candidate will require to IMPLEMENT the structural and physical design such as Synthesis, Floor planning , Clock Tree design, Timing Budgeting and Clock Definition, Place and Route, RC-extraction, Full Chip Integration. In addition, candidate will also need to VERIFY the structural physical design such as Power and Reliability Analysis, Functional/Structural Equivalency Check, Timing/Performance Verification, Timing-Noise Analysis and Layout Design Rules Convergence. You are expected to collect data, scripting, automation of the flows while you are undergoing a series of training on VLSI chip design. You should have Electronics, Electrical, Microelectronics or Computer Engineering qualification. Other requirements such as following are added advantage: -Programming skill in C, C++, .net, Perl, and other scripting knowledge -Excellent problem solving, technical leadership, project management, and communication skillsInside this Business Group
