Client Background: US based MNC communication company
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Headcount: 1
Tenure: Permanent
Remuneration: Basic Salary, Annual Leave, EPF, SOCSO
· Directly Participates on Remote deployment of company system on a Virtual platform.
o Product to be deployed including both product application deployment as well as Voice Recording systems.
o Also included is need to enable monitoring systems to allow the team to monitor health of system once in production.
o May also be utilized for Configuration data activities in support of Service Delivery project teams.
· Works closely with Service Delivery Project Manager and Customers to hit target dates for Go Live of systems.
· Will participate as a member of Global Central MAC team for customer requests to make changes to company product and Enterprise systems.
o Will include a level of record keeping on each system as changes are applied.
§ SharePoint, Remedy, are primary tools used.
o Work with Advance Support team on more complex Change control for technical review of workflows.
o Escalate issues to appropriate organizations
o Adhere to best practices in deployment and configuration of systems
· Continue improving personal technical and product specific skills via company provided training and self-study
· May be asked to participate in Support and coordination of new Alpha and Beta releases of company products.
· Create or assist updates to installation / service documentation, when necessary.
· High energy, motivated engineer with prior experience in deployment of technologies.
· Strong technical foundation to build upon - application layer training in Communications and Voice Recording technologies will be provided by company
· Should have:
a. Understanding of Virtualization technologies, Networking and Operating Systems (Linux RedHat, Windows Servers):
o Domains / Workgroups
o User accounts and Services
o Security (Key and certificate management and troubleshooting, authentication methods, secure communication protocols)
o OS low level troubleshooting: CLI, log review, firewall and file operations
b. An understanding of VoIP and SIP
c. Technical writing / drawing skills
d. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
e. Flexibility and willingness to work non-standard hours on occasion to meet customer demand.
· Strong preference for:
a. Experience with company technologies, support of Cloud environments, PBX and Voice Recording
b. Server & Operating Systems Certifications:
o Linux Certification (CompTIA, LPIC, or Red Hat), or
o Microsoft Certification (MCSE, MCSA)
o CompTIA Server+
c. Network / Telecommunications Certifications:
o CompTIA Network+
o Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCVP)
o Any advanced SIP certification (SSCA, etc)
d. Familiarity with ITIL practices
· Education and experience:
a. 2-4 years in Fintech, Information Technology or Telecommunications
b. 4-year college degree preferred with relevant experience
c. Minimum of two-year college degree with relevant experience
