DESCRIPTION Key Purpose of the Role:
• Manage day to day operations of internal sales office
• guidance and motivation to internal and external sales team in executing divisional sales strategies
• Make presentations and sell company products and services to new and existing clients
• Compile and analyse sales progress reports from CRM database and proactively address shortfall in targets
• Participate in all marketing events and attend/lead client sales meetings Assist telesales team in campaign development activities
Strategic Outcome:
• Effective management of the divisions P&L within allocated budget ensuring a profitable performance for the division
• An engaged team striving to meet the department’s key performance targets, sales targets and agreed key performance indicators.
• Effective management of the performance and development of employees to drive and maximise the sales performance of the division
• Development of an effective network of communication across the business area ensuring shared knowledge and understanding of business activities

Degree in any discipline preferably in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or related field • Good business development experience • Strong planning, organising, reporting and networking skills • Ability to travel extensively (within Malaysia) • Strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability • Minimum 2-5 years working experience in a Technical sales Environment • Valid driving license • Basic proficiency in English language
A team builder and motivator who thrives on working closely with a team • Industrial knowledge of targeted segment; Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food and System Integrators. • First hand understanding of technical equipment manufacturing and marketing initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning and Organisation
Research prices and products of competitors. Compile and analyse periodic sales progress reports Advise Business Area Managers on shortfalls and make remedial suggestions/action plans Ensure adherence to company external or internal customer care policies and procedures Manage CRM database to ensure accurate and up to date information is entered and made available
• Business Development/ Sales and Marketing
Lead, manage and motivate sales team towards meeting agreed targets Provide guidance in the execution of divisional sales strategies Develop targeted telesales campaigns with guidance from the Business Area Manager Work with telesales team to set up and execute campaigns that promote products/services on discounts and offers to new and existing customers Communicate with the key account representatives to increase or maintain levels of business activity Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers Identifying sales prospects and contacts and other accounts as assigned JD-Team Leader.doc Technical Advisory and Product Advocate Preparing quotes, proposals and sales contracts Developing and maintaining sales materials and current product knowledge Managing agreed levels of calling activity to raise revenue or volume streams in conjunction with the sales team

Support the design and execution of all marketing campaigns and leads generation Participant in Sales visits to key customers to build customer relationship and be their preferred vendor Provide advice on product & technical information to team and potential/existing customers Provide support to the team at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc

Monitor performance of sales team to maximise sales performance of division
