Overall Responsibilities:
The Technical Architect team is responsible for providing technical solutions to new & existing corporate customers on Internet & WAN, Managed Security, IP VPN, VoIP, Hosting and bespoke solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced industry professional with strong core technical skills to join and add value to a dedicated and friendly team.
Responsible for actively driving and managing the pre-sales process with direct and channel customers the Technical Architect must be able to articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical users.
Primarily engaged in a pre-sales technical consultancy role, the consultant will provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, and supporting business sales teams, client managers and partners on proposal activities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Based in Malaysia center and handle technical requests from Asia-Pacific (AP) region.
• Work closely with countries local team to service every request.
• Join remote meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
• Study and analyst client requirements provided
• Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes
• Prepare Built of Material (BoM) and/or obtain vendor quotation
• Define technical services Scope of Work(SoW) and costing
• Process technical compliance table
• Proposal Validation and Aggregation
• Transition/ Pre to post knowledge hand over
• Respond to technical clarification
• Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities
• Adhere to the Company’s Quality and Business Processes
Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT or computer degree
• 8+ years of experience in technical solutioning capabilities with minimum 5 years in Pre-Sales capacity
• Minimum a CCNP and above, Cloud Computing Specialist or Data Center Certified
• ITIL certification or similar
• Must have experience designing technical solutions for companies where you have successfully implemented technical solutions.
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proven track record within telecom technologies and internet telephony techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Ability to manage high stress situations and multi-task managing various project elements simultaneously
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
• Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization and a team player to work collaboratively with all levels
• Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
