Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Provides hardware support activities for Wintel Server Hardware and Operating System.
  • Monitor day-to-day operation for server and network devices and connectivity, SAN storage, tape, operation report, batch job, ensure workable.
  • MS Windows Active Directory Server System, MS Windows Exchange Server System and Administration Support.
  • Creating, adding, moving, changing users/groups and modifying users, group, printer, file rights.
  • Auditing trust rights and modifying rights assignment.
  • Provide OS support related activities such as corrective and preventive maintenance (daily health check), patching, and configuration.
  • Problem Management (Resolving Server Incidents & Problems Ticket, and vendor management in systems related issue).
  • Provide problem escalation and notification to Stakeholder by complying with Customers’ Working Process Flow and Policies.
  • Installation and troubleshoot of in-house applications etc.
  • Create and setup new image, support software deployment and antivirus agents.
  • Liaise with vendor’s engineer for system hardware and software set-up.
  • Assist in servers, network switches and other LAN infrastructure inventory reporting.
  • Assist servers, network switches and other LAN infrastructure related projects.
  • Provide day-to-day operation service deliveries (i.e. Incident, Problem, Asset & Change Management).
  • Track, Monitor and Close the assigned service calls / tickets to meet customer Service Level Agreement.
Requirements:
  • Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
  • Proven relevant experience of at least 2 years in the IT industry
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service IT equipment
  • Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers
  • Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.
  • Proven record of being reliable and accountable for all aspects of their job.
  • Proficient level of troubleshooting skills e.g. Windows server OS, VMWare, Citrix, Cloud services
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
  • Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
