Job Description
The Technical program manager will support product delivery execution for XNE Networking ASICs family of products. In this role, you will work across multiple organizations to deliver ASICs products from tape-in to production release qualification (PRQ). You will engage with stakeholders across the Intel product development and delivery ecosystem including design, IP, manufacturing, Q and R and marketing teams to ensure Intel customers receive a compelling product. Main responsibilities include:

  • Lead a highly matrixed cross organizational team of defined scope and moderate complexity usually consisting of a core leadership team that manages a variety of functional areas.

  • Manage interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders

  • Decision making within scope, and escalation to management for broader program level decisions

  • Execute management direction for programs directly related to corporate policies or important business operations to meet strategic goals of significance

  • Lead the core team and guiding performance of functional teams. Act as the primary interface with stakeholders and leverage management leadership as needed

  • Exercise judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches

  • Create and track execution to the program schedule. Escalate schedule adjustments to management team.

  • Work to identify risks and develop solutions to timely, efficient achievement of program goals

  • Understands the technical concepts, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined program.

  • Influence cross organizational strategies relevant to program goals.

  • Work with Quality to assess and close the HWARC assessment at each milestone

  • Document agreement from all stakeholders prior to any tape-in

  • Hold all functional teams accountable using weekly Mission Control meetings to assess risks and drive HSD closures

  • Provide high-lever overview of program to the Executive Decision Meeting for XNE

  • Work with the technology office and IP teams

  • Work with design and customer on system evaluations for power and performance

  • Help drive early understanding on customer failure rates and test hold reductions

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Requirements:
The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years experience in post silicon product development or program/project management.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Project/Program management or related field experience with a proven track record of delivering on time results within budget.

  • 3+ years experience developing an ASIC product, pre silicon through qualification and PRQ.

  • Technical product management and manufacturing introduction.
