Responsibilities :
• Project Management engagement that requires technical competency skills for small and mid- projects within the business tower.
• Manages project deliverables in accordance to CTC PMO standard project management methodology of initiation, execution and closure throughout the project lifecycle comprising :
o Project Definition
o Site Assessment Plan
o Design and develop &/or configuration architecture
o Build testing and commissioning
o Operational document
o Project handover to operation
• Works with internal sales team, pre-sales, legal and delivery teams to develop project implementation plans for CTC client project management engagements.
• Defines the roles and responsibilities of all parties involved in the project for customers, project team, principal, sub-contractors and others affected by the project.
• Assigns, schedules, reviews, and monitors project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time and within budget.
• Monitors & controls the following project tasks :
o Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation stage
o Performs constant reporting to project stakeholders through project team meetings to ensure the quality of projects are maintained
o Prepares and presents oral and/or written project management status reports
o Performs notifications to the next level of the project hierarchy reporting level for any issue/s and problems that would impact the project triple constraint (on cost, scope and schedule change).
• Facilitates amicable solutions with the customer(s) if a dead lock of the project works is encountered.
• Ensure effective communication and relationships between customers, project team members and sub-contractors are maintained.
• Ensures that CTC project management services are delivered based on CTC’s Customer Service Values (Knowledgeable, Reliable and Friendly).
• Prepares project billing documents upon acceptance sign-off by customers and updates the status on project status dashboard for reporting every mid and end of the month.
• Prepares to be on-duty after company business operating hours during project implementation deployment activities (if required).
• Identifies the technical design and implementation approach with Solution Architects, Pre-Sales Consultants and Technical Leads in a given project.
Requirements :
• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Preferably certified with PMP/Prince 2 certification with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Project.
• Possess basic technical knowledge on Systems (Red Hat, x86 hardware, HCI, VMware, EMC storage, Veritas backup), Network (Cisco SDN & SDA, SDWAN, Huawei and HP) and Security (Palo Alto, Fortinet, TrendMicro, Symantec) product functionality.
• 5 years related working experience in management of projects for ICT industry.
• Possess natural leadership abilities, including excellent negotiating and influencing skills.
