Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Driving improved support through completion of operational acceptance into service measures and activities.
  • Ensuring smooth running of IT systems particularly in Lead areas
  • Advise on suitable upgrades concerns of any remedial work in Lead areas.
  • Experience of network security products and countermeasure techniques, including Firewalls,
  • Virtual Private Networks (VPN’s),
  • Encryption and authentication techniques
  • Knowledge in TCP/IP routing protocols, including OSPF and BGP
Excellent understanding of common network services, including
  • Directory Name Service (DNS),
  • Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP),
  • Network Time Protocol (NTP),
  • Load-balancing techniques
  • Awareness of next generation firewalls/ application firewalls
  • Knowledge of using Linux and Windows boxes
  • Extensive Experience in Troubleshooting at all levels in the Networking area
  • Working knowledge of using azure
  • 3 years working in an ITIL support environment
