Job Description

Primary Objective:
    Lead teams of Test Leads for successful delivery of Testing Services within schedule, budget and scope internally and with Project Sponsor/Program Director (SBG/SFG Heads OR SBS/SFS Heads) Drive test issue resolution (jointly with Project Sponsor/Program Director OR SBS/SFS Heads) to closure. Identifies and recommends improvements to methods and standards for a project through an assessment of current testing practices, and supports implementation of recommended improvements Provide hands-on guidance and support to the Project Sponsor/Program Director (SBG/SFG Heads OR SBS/SFS Heads) on Test Management initiatives Share the same projects KPI with Business Unit under RHB Group Ensure compliance to agile ceremonies and philosophies Ensure timely manners, accuracy of the report & Completeness of the Documentation

Key Responsibilities:
General (Enterprise Level):
    Responsible for all projects under the RHB Banking Groups inclusive Regional Offices and overseas branches Proactively identifies and proposes improvements to TCOE testing practices. Has accountability for results of a major program in project test management area. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established policies. Provides training / guidance to Business SBG/SFG, IT SBG/SFG, vendor to ensure that testing processes and testing templates are in alignment to TCOE expectations Reviews SOW for testing related matters to ensure testing processes and test deliverables are in alignment to TCOE expectations.
Test Manager role (Project Level):
    Work on complex project problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors. Plan, deploy, and manage the testing effort for the project for better test planning and demand forecast in functional testing and non-functional testing areas. Communicates with all stakeholders for a project to assist in managing testing issues and risks. Develop Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Progress report, Test Closure report and obtain test sign off as per Bank’s standard policy. Implement and evolve the appropriate measurements and metrics in project and testing team. Efficient Control delivery of testing projects (on time, within the budget, good quality) in collaboration with Business and IT project stakeholders. Constant review and ensure the projects / CRs undertaken by team members meeting the project Testing goals and Test Metrics and to ensure test methodology are in alignment to TCOE expectations. Take overall responsibility for Test Management Services functions (plan, organize, outsource management and monitor test framework according to set standards) Responsible for the administration, supervision, coaching, and performance management of staff working in the Project for both Permanent staffs and contract staffs Review Test Estimation for SIT/UAT to ascertain testing timeline and resources required are sufficient and achievable

Bachelor Degree - Business, Management, computer Science, IT, MIS or relevant banking experience.
- • CTFL-TA (Certified Test Foundation Level – Test Analyst) (*mandatory)• CTFL-AT (Certified Test Foundation Level – Agile Tester)• CTAL-TM Certified Test Advanced Level – Test Manager) (*preferred)• CTAL – TTA (Certified Test Advanced Level – Technical Test Analyst)
    More than 10 years of working experience and at least 8 years working experience in test projects, including 3 years in a lead or management position in areas relevant to testing / tools At least 5-8 years of experience in leading large IT program teams in banking related domains in testing areas
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process in Agile methodology and Waterfall methodology
  • Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools, people skills, especially diplomacy and advocacy skills, planning and management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Aggressive, results-oriented with excellent relationship-building skills.
